Rancho Palooza is an annual event hosted by Rancho Cucamonaga High School students and staff. This year, the event was held in the RCHS quad on Saturday, May 2. Many people were able to see art displays, bracelet stands, theatre, dance, eat at food vendors, and much more.
This event is not only to show others how much RCHS does to support and show their students’ talents, but also to bring a community together with similar interests.
“I loved it. It was a really fun day with lots of people who came to support, and it was just a really fun day,” junior Danielle Palmer said.
Programs at RCHS displayed their work on tables in the gym.
Dance prepared a choreographed dance in which varsity, junior varsity, and dance 3 performed. Two RCHS students, Justine Teodoro and Amare Morre, also performed dance solos, one being a contemporary dance.
“You know, it was nice to actually be a part of the event this time. I was able to walk around and help people look at the cool artwork. Best of all, [I] had a walkie-talkie,” junior Malcolm Whitehead II said.
The RCHS jazz band performed a song and earned lots of applause for their talent.
The community, both adults and children, loved the events, food, art, and the festival. overall. The next Rancho Palooza will happen in May 2027, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
