Senior, middle in-fielder, Aliza Rodriguez shares what the challenges the team faced were.
“I think the biggest challenge is that we choke at the end of the game,” Rodriguez said
Rodriguez talked about how their team chemistry is good. She said she feels like the team gets along well, which helps them play together as a team.
Senior outfielder Amanda Wise gave her view on how the softball season is going.
“I feel like, in our skill set, we need to grow, and we need to learn to trust each other, and that we have each other’s back and to play for each other,” Wise said.
Senior outfielder Racine McDermott gave her view on the team’s chemistry so far in the season.
“I feel like we all get along and we’re all there for each other, even if there’s like competition for a position, everybody still wants the other teammate to do good for themselves,” McDermott said.
McDermott also gave her opinion on where she thinks the team still needs to grow for the rest of the season.
“I think some girls will act back towards the coaches, and I think we could all grow with that. But I think just trusting it within ourselves and our coach,” McDermott said.
RCHS faced Upland High School on April 9 at 3:15 p.m for their next game.
