On this episode of Avatar Analysts, hosts Ray Hernandez, Leighla Clanor, and Ashley Nien interview senior student Naomi Clanor and talk about personal opinions on James Cameron’s popular film, “Avatar.” This episode focuses on the first film from the franchise and a few extras from the other two films added into this episode.

Ray Hernandez
Ray Hernandez, Multimedia Editor
Ray Hernandez is a junior at RCHS, and this is her second year in journalism. She is the multimedia editor for the school newspaper, The Cat’s Eye. Outside of school, Hernandez enjoys hanging out with her best friends, scrolling on her phone, and occasionally writing poetry when she feels emotional.
Ashley Nien
Ashley Nien, Staff Reporter
Ashley Nien is a junior at RCHS, and this is her first year in journalism. She works as a staff reporter for the school newspaper, The Cat’s Eye. She joined the journalism program to capture special moments between students and staff through photography and videography. Outside of school, Nien participates in Rancho’s marching band and enjoys visiting aquariums and museums.
Leighla Jade Clanor
Leighla Jade Clanor, Staff Reporter
Leighla Jade Clanor is currently a junior at RCHS and this is her first year in journalism as a staff reporter. Clanor is also a percussionist in the school’s marching band which takes up most of her time, including outside of school hours. However, when Clanor isn’t at school, she’s off hanging out with her sister and father.
