From pumpkin spice, to the falling colorful leaves, autumn holds a very special place in many people’s hearts, especially when it comes to the popular season’s fashion trends. As the cold weather slowly creeps in, students at Rancho Cucamonga High discuss everything they love about fall fashion.
“What I love about fall fashion is how many stylistic choices can be made through layering since the weather is getting colder,” said senior Brooklyn Helper.
Senior Jada Lavender also describes what she loves about fall fashion.
“What I love about fall fashion are the vibes and Uggs,” said Lavender. “Definitely Uggs because they’re so comfortable and cute.”
Senior Mira Gergis explains what her favorite fall staple piece to wear is.
“My favorite fall staple is probably like off the shoulder sweaters or long sleeve tops. I feel like those are the cutest,” said Gergis.
Helper also elaborates on her favorite fall pieces.
“My favorite fall staple to wear is boots,” said Helper. “A cute pair of boots can elevate any outfit.”
Among students, stores like Hollister, Tilly’s and thrift stores are popular places to obtain fashionable fall items, whether it be clothes or accessories.
“I typically buy my favorite fall fashion clothes from well known stores like Hollister or Tilly’s,” said Helper. “I don’t shop a lot for clothes though, but instead try to use the clothes I already have to make different combinations to match the season.”
Gergis also adds her opinion on which stores she feels have the best fall fashion.
“I like going to Pacsun for jeans and there’s a lot of places to get cute sweaters,” said Gergis. “I like Tilly’s and Target has some good stuff too, and just everywhere has cute stuff.”
While autumn may not be everyone’s favorite season of the year, many students love this time of year due to many things like the weather, the holidays, and pumpkins, for example.
“I love fall because it brings such fun traditions and holidays,” said Helper. “Summer is my favorite season, just because I love the beach. But there’s something so captivating about fall and the way the Earth changes to match the season shift.”
Gergis gives her opinion on why she loves this season as well.
“I love fall because I love the weather and I love Halloween,” said Gergis. “It is my favorite season; I just love everything about it.”
According to Lavender, she likes fall due to pumpkins and pumpkin flavored refreshments.
“I like fall because of pumpkin spice and everything; I love pumpkins,” said Lavender. “It’s not my favorite season. I like the warm, the hot.”
