Need a Hand? Teacher and Peer Tutoring is Available via Zoom

Rancho Cucamonga High School is now offering peer tutoring and subject-specific tutoring for RCHS students.

Peer Tutoring is available every Monday for a variety of subjects including all levels of English, Integrated Math I-III, Science, Social Science, and more. During peer tutoring, 15 AP students at RCHS will help their peers in various subjects.

Each tutoring session lasts for one hour and begins after school on Mondays at 2:45 p.m. To access the peer tutoring sessions, students need to check their email for an email about Peer Tutoring. The email contains the Zoom link. When students login, they will need to identify the subject area for which they need assistance, and they will be assigned to the appropriate breakout room.

In addition to peer tutoring, RCHS is also offering subject-specific tutoring. RCHS offers this tutoring service every Tuesday through Thursday.

Tutoring is held virtually through Zoom. Each tutoring session lasts for one hour and starts after school at 2:45 p.m., with the exception of Ms. Woodhouse’s tutoring session. Her economics tutoring session starts at 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays.

Students can access the subject-specific tutoring schedule on Canvas and through their emails. All students received an email about tutoring with an attached schedule of all subject-specific tutoring Zoom schedules, teachers, and zoom links. Students are encouraged to check their Outlook email through their Office 365 account for more information about subject-specific tutoring.

If students  are struggling in any courses, they are encouraged to seek out additional help through tutoring and use this resource to get extra support.
