CIF Cross Country Championships
Freshman Nicole Alfred represented Rancho Cucamonga High School on Saturday, November 20 at the CIF Southern Section Finals. Alfred finished 51st in the state competition out of 180 runners with a time of 18:23.
“It felt way more tough because that was the first 5k I ran, and it was against the fastest girls in the state, and it was mentally tougher,” Alfred said.
Alfred was 13th in CIF Southern Section Finals and was also the third-fastest freshman in CIF.
“It was tough, but a really cool experience,” Alfred said.
Glenn Bell, a senior at RCHS, came in 38th place with a time of 15:43 for D1 Boys while Madilyn Siana got 28th place in 18:56 minutes for D1 Girls.
The 2021 California Interscholastic Federation championships were held on Saturday, November 20 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut CA.
