RCHS to host virtual back-to-school night on Aug. 30

The school will be hosting a virtual Back-to-School Night on Monday, Aug. 30. Information about the Back-to-School night will be posted on the school’s website, and the school will also send out announcements.

This year, like last year, Back-to-School night is virtual. This decision came from the Chaffey Joint Union High School District and the superintendent.

The night will begin with a webinar from Rancho Cucamonga High School principal Mr. Josh Kirk, and then teachers will make videos for their classes.

Ms. Jonie Siegel, the Assistant Principal of Instruction, encourages students and parents to participate in Back-to-School night. Siegel said, “students, I’d like to encourage you to welcome your parents to Back-to-School night.”

According to Siegel, Back-to-School night is a really important day for parents of RCHS students.

“There is an important synergy that happens between the student, the teacher, and the parent. It’s also really nice for parents to get a feel for the teacher’s personality,” Siegel said.
