The End Of Daylight Saving Time
November 20, 2020
Daylight saving time starts in the spring on Sunday, March 8. Daylight Saving Time starts around 2:00 a.m., so our clocks are set forward for a certain amount of time, usually by one hour. Daylight Saving Time ends on the first Sunday of every November. The reason why they switch the time at 2:00 am is to avoid disrupting the public life.
The United States began to use Daylight Saving Time on March 9, 1918.The United States decided to use Daylight Saving Time so workers could have an extra hour of sunlight to work with.
My opinion about Daylight Saving Time ending is that I like it only because we get an extra hour of sleep, but that only happens when it ends. Because, let’s face it, when we start Daylight Saving Time in the Spring, losing that extra hour of sleep is tough.
However, now that Daylight Saving Time has endedI don’t like that we are losing sunlight early, and it starts to get darker earlier and earlier.
Even though we are given an extra hour of sleep on the day it ends, I feel like I’m more tired and drained during the day.
Once I get used to Daylight Saving Times ending, then It will be time for Daylight Saving Time to begin yet again, and this cycle will keep repeating for me again and again.
