The Rancho Cucamonga High School instructional calendar will be modified the week of November 9. There will be no school November 11.

Through distance learning, RCHS will honor this day. The school schedule for the week is as follows:

Monday, November 9, 2020- Periods 1,2,3

Tuesday, November 10, 2020- Periods 4,5,6

Wednesday, November 11, 2020- Veteran’s Day Holiday – All Schools Closed

Thursday, November 12, 2020- Periods 1,2,3

Friday, November 13, 2020- Periods 4,5,6

According to Mr. James Cronin, the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction for the Chaffey Joint Union High School District, the school’s instructional calendar was modified this specific way because teachers requested equal instructional time for all their classes during the school week of Veteran’s Day.

According to Mr. Cronin, the principals on each school campus will provide this information to staff, students, and parents to further inform them of class schedule modifications.

“The principals at each site will provide messages to staff, students, and parents to inform them of those changes, said Mr. Cronin. This information will also be posted on the District’s website.

Veteran’s Day is held to honor all of those who served the country in war or peace, deceased or alive. Veteran’s Day is a federal holiday in the United States that takes place every November 11.
