Ray Hernandez is a sophomore at RCHS, and this is her first year in journalism. She is a staff reporter for the school newspaper, The Cat’s Eye. Her favorite thing about writing is how therapeutic it can be and how you can express your feelings while listening to some good music in the background. When not writing, Ray enjoys playing video games with her friends and scrolling on her phone.

Marco Awad, News Editor
Marco Awad is a freshman here at RCHS, and this his first year in journalism. He is currently the News Editor for the school newspaper, The Cat’s Eye. Being a former Editor-in-Chief of The Day Creek Howl, he’s excited to see what the journalism program at RCHS will bring him. He loves hanging out with his friends, building Lego, and researching about engineering projects, from concept cars to fighter jets. He is a complete audiophile and you’ll catch him listening to artists like Eminem and Bruno Mars, and enjoys the exhilarating thrill that comes from watching soccer.
